The conversion of commercial space on first and second floors to four self-contained apartments.
Each of the proposed apartments would have one bedroom, a bathroom and kitchen
with separate living rooms.
The building was considered to be a key building that provides a positive contribution to the Lord Street Conservation area. The distinctive upper floor windows facing Stanley Street and Nevill Street in particular are strong architectural features that provide a positive contribution to the character of the conservation area so we as a company had to complete this project without any alterations to the exterior appearance to preserve the character of the Lord Street Conservation Area and also whilst completing the project we had to cause the least amount of disturbance or blight to the area due to the location of the project.
